Joined this service when it was $70 per month which was funnily enough when it was living up to its promises, it stated 1000Mbps and that is what you would get, then the price went up to $89 and the speed nose dived to 730MBps but the front page still says 1000, notified them and they have nothing when the next payment is due I will be with a new provider.

Used to be good - no pros now.

Cons

Substandard support, substandard service, support via E-Mail only which sucks, they say you get what you pay for well what I was paying for went downhill real fast. I'm done.

The internet is normally good, however their customer support is terrible so if anything happens they won't be much help.

Dont waste your time considering Slingshot as a internet provider, you may save a dollar with a good promotion but they will find the way to rip you off later on. E.g.: disconnection charges, claiming for the return of a modem that wasnt theirs, sneding out 2 wrong invoices after cancellation date was passed, taking months to return the money they have wrongly charge you, customer service is the worst of its kind!

I am with Ubernet for over 10 years now. I think that's the best feedback I can give. And I have no plans to change providers.

Pros

Customer service exceeds expectations. One time they fixed a connection (water damage) on a Saturday evening. They monitor my connection and even call when they see something is odd.

Being a newbie to internet I researched thoroughly and found NOW to be the best for me.Phone was answered promptly and assistance was excellent,explaining everything to me.Installation was quick
I would have no hesitation to refer anyone to this provider.Office in New Zealand and phone answered promptly.Always kept informed of any issues affecting users.
